How to claim
- Open our Extrabux invite on this page. It sets the referral in your browser for 7 days, so create your account in the same browser within that time.
- Join with an email address, Google or Facebook (or a mobile number in the countries Extrabux lists). The US$20 welcome bonus shows in your account straight away, locked.
- Before each purchase, find the store on Extrabux, empty your basket at the store, turn off ad-blockers and click through from the Extrabux store page. Add items after clicking, finish in the same session and use only coupon codes listed on Extrabux.
- Check that the order appears as Pending within 1 to 7 days. If it hasn't after 7 days, file a Missing Cash Back claim with your order confirmation.
- Each time your tracked cash back passes the next milestone, US$5 of the bonus unlocks: US$5, US$15, US$25 and US$40 for accounts opened by 31 December 2026, over at least four separate purchases within 180 days of joining. Super Cash Back doesn't count towards the totals.
- After the return period, usually 90 days, the cash back and any unlocked bonus turn Available. Once you have US$10 Available, including a confirmed purchase with over US$1 of cash back, request a payment by PayPal or eGift card.
Eligibility & requirements
- New Extrabux members only, one account per person. Accounts can't be combined, and Extrabux can withhold cash back or bonuses it links to fraud, duplicate accounts or unusual activity.
- The bonus must be unlocked within 180 days of joining. Accounts registered from 20 October to 31 December 2026 unlock US$5 each at US$5, US$15, US$25 and US$40 of tracked cash back, with at least one, two, three and four purchases. Accounts registered outside that window need US$25, US$50, US$75 and US$100.
- Super Cash Back, Extrabux's boosted rate on some stores, doesn't count towards the milestones.
- Cash back only tracks when you click through from Extrabux with cookies on and an empty basket, order within 24 hours of the click, and use no coupon code from outside Extrabux. Gift cards, returns, cancelled orders and items a store excludes earn nothing.
- Payments are in US dollars, from US$10 Available. Outside the US the options are PayPal or an eGift card; the Amazon.com eGift Card can only be spent on Amazon.com. Cheques and ACH transfers are for the US only.
- An account left inactive for 365 days in a row loses its balance.
- Extrabux can change the welcome bonus. The milestones shown in your account and the live help-centre article decide what you receive.

- Everything is paid in US dollars; if your PayPal account uses another currency, PayPal converts it at its own rate.

- Do I get US$20 as soon as I sign up?
- No. The US$20 appears in your account straight away but stays locked. It unlocks US$5 at a time as your tracked cash back reaches each milestone within 180 days of joining, and each unlocked step then waits out the merchant's return period before you can withdraw it.
- Which milestones apply to me?
- It depends on when you register. Accounts opened between 20 October and 31 December 2026 use Extrabux's 20th-anniversary ladder: US$5, US$15, US$25 and US$40 of cash back. Accounts opened outside that window need US$25, US$50, US$75 and US$100. Each step also needs one more purchase than the step before.
- How much do I have to spend to unlock it?
- That depends on each store's rate. At 5% cash back, US$100 of spending earns US$5, enough for the first step on the anniversary ladder, and the full US$20 needs about US$800 across at least four orders. At 2%, the same steps take US$250 and US$2,000.
- Is there a referral code to enter?
- No. Our link sets the referral in your browser for 7 days. Create the account in the same browser within that time; if you clear cookies or switch devices first, open the link again.
- Why didn't my purchase track?
- Common causes are items already in the basket before you clicked through, a coupon code from outside Extrabux, an ad-blocker or cleared cookies, paying with a gift card, or two orders on one click. If an order isn't showing after 7 days, file a Missing Cash Back claim; stores usually take 30 to 45 days to answer.
- Can I use Extrabux outside the US?
- Yes. Extrabux says cash back can be earned from any country, though some stores limit cash back by location or delivery address, so check the store's cash back terms before you order. Payments are in US dollars by PayPal or eGift card; cheques and ACH are for US addresses only.
- How long until I can withdraw?
- Orders usually show within 1 to 7 days, then wait about 90 days for the return period. Once you have US$10 Available, including a confirmed purchase with over US$1 of cash back, request a payment. Extrabux processes it within 3 business days, and PayPal usually receives it 24 to 48 hours later.
- What if I return an order?
- The store cancels its cash back, so that order stops counting towards your Available balance and may no longer count towards a bonus milestone. Unlocked steps only become Available after the return period, so build the milestones from orders you're keeping.
