Best for

People in Britain with a genuine reason to receive US post (a US bank or brokerage account, US tax letters, a US company or US-only deliveries), and Brits heading abroad who want a cheap UK address for a handful of letters a month.

Anytime Mailbox is a sensible way to get a real street address in the US or London and read your post as scans, and the price is set by each local operator: a Wilmington, Delaware address starts at $9.99 a month and a City of London one at £8.99. The $10 Amazon gift card through our link is a small extra rather than a reason to sign up: it arrives after a paid sign-up, you must stay a paying customer for three months, and it spends on Amazon.com, not Amazon.co.uk. Three months of a US address with the online notary and light use comes to about $66 plus postage, so only sign up if the address solves a real problem.

Pros

  • Real street addresses, not PO boxes: 1,937 in the US and 10 in the UK on 24 October 2026
  • Prices set per location, from $9.99 a month in Delaware and £8.99 in the City of London
  • Every letter is photographed on arrival; you choose scan, forward, shred or recycle in the app
  • A $10 Amazon gift card through our link once your paid sign-up stays active for three months
  • Online notary by video call, so a UK resident can finish the US Form 1583 without travelling
  • Scans stay free in your account for as long as it is open

Watch-outs

  • The gift card is in US dollars and only spends on Amazon.com, not Amazon.co.uk
  • US addresses need two IDs and a notarised Form 1583, and the online notary costs extra (about $25 by Anytime's own estimate)
  • Per-page scans, per-bundle forwarding and daily storage fees add up on top of the plan
  • Fees are non-refundable after 30 days or once mail has arrived
  • Anytime Mailbox itself advises against using the address as your official address for an LLC, the IRS or a bank without checking first
  • Low app ratings: 2.4 on the US App Store and 2.9 on Google Play

What Anytime Mailbox is

Anytime Mailbox is software run by Bugo LLC of Henderson, Nevada. It doesn't handle post itself: each address belongs to an independent mail centre (a business centre, print shop or postal counter) that receives your letters and parcels, photographs the outside and uploads the image to your account. From the app or website you then ask for it to be opened and scanned, forwarded anywhere in the world, shredded, recycled or held for collection.

Because the operators are separate businesses, prices, allowances and services differ from address to address, and Anytime's terms say your recourse for mishandled post is against the operator. Its own liability is capped at the greater of $500 or the fees you paid in the previous six months, so a mailbox is a convenience, not a vault.

Where the addresses are and what they cost

On 24 October 2026 the location list showed 1,937 US addresses (367 in California, 260 in Texas, 220 in Florida, 16 in Delaware) plus about 40 other countries, including 10 in the UK, 60 in Canada and 34 in Australia. In London there are five: Ludgate Hill from £8.99 a month, New North Road from £9.99, Stratford High Street from £14.99, Hanover Square from £17.99 and Ilford at £599.99 a year.

A typical US example is TKO Suites at 300 Delaware Avenue, Wilmington: Bronze costs $9.99 a month or $109.99 a year for 30 incoming items, Silver $14.99 for 60, Gold $29.99 for 125 and Unlimited $69.99. Every plan there charges $1 per scanned page and $5 per forwarding bundle plus postage, includes two named recipients and adds $10 a month for each extra person. Check deposit isn't offered at that address but is at others, such as Newark, Delaware, for $10 a cheque.

In London the cheapest plan is the Ludgate Hill Lite package (individuals only, no businesses): £8.99 a month or £74.99 a year for 3 incoming items, 3 scanned pages and one recipient, with extra items at 10p, extra pages at 30p and forwarding at £1 a bundle plus postage.

The $10 gift card through our link

Sign up through our link, choose an address and plan, and pay at checkout: that paid online sign-up is what Anytime Mailbox calls the eligible transaction. A $10 Amazon gift card then usually lands within about 24 hours, although it can take up to two weeks, and you have to remain a paying customer for at least three months. Cancelled, refunded or reversed sign-ups don't count, you can't refer yourself, each new account earns one reward, and Anytime can swap in another reward of equal value or end the programme without notice.

The card is a US-dollar Amazon gift card. Amazon.com gift cards can only be spent on Amazon.com, and once redeemed the balance can't move to Amazon.co.uk, so it is worth $10 to you only if you buy from the US store.

Disclosure: the link is BonusRoam's own referral, so we receive a $10 Amazon gift card too when your sign-up qualifies.

How the $10 gift card works: sign up through our link; choose an address and plan and pay at checkout; submit two IDs, plus a notarised Form 1583 for US addresses; the $10 Amazon gift card usually arrives in about 24 hours and can take two weeks; stay a paying customer for at least three months. Cancelled or refunded sign-ups don't count, and the card only spends on Amazon.com.

Getting verified: two IDs and Form 1583

Every sign-up ends with uploading ID. For a US address you also need USPS Form 1583, which authorises the mail centre to receive post for you. It needs two documents: a photo ID (a UK passport works, and foreign IDs must be in English) and proof of your current address, such as a tenancy agreement, mortgage statement, home or car insurance policy, or a second photo ID showing your address. Utility bills, credit cards and birth certificates are not accepted, and the photo ID address must match the form.

The form has to be notarised. Anytime offers an online notary by video call from the sign-up flow, which sends the form straight to your account; its own guides put remote notarisation at about $25. Its terms allow up to five business days for verification, and post that arrives for an unverified name can be returned to sender, so finish this before you give the address out. UK and other non-US addresses don't use Form 1583.

What three months of a US address costs

Take the Wilmington Bronze plan on monthly billing, because the gift card needs three paid months: $29.97 for the plan, about $25 for the online notary, $6 to scan six pages and $5 to forward one bundle, before postage. That is about $66 for the quarter, against a $10 gift card that only works on Amazon.com.

If you'll keep the address for a year, the annual price of $109.99 works out at $9.17 a month and also covers the three-month requirement. The London Lite plan costs £26.97 for the same three months with no notary, but its 3 items a month only suit very light post.

Three months of a US address in Wilmington, Delaware on the Bronze plan: plan $29.97, online notary about $25, six scanned pages $6, one forwarding bundle $5 plus postage, total about $66 before postage; the $10 Amazon.com gift card offsets part of it. Annual Bronze is $109.99, or $9.17 a month. London Ludgate Hill Lite for three months: £26.97, no Form 1583.

What the address is good for, and what it isn't

It works well as a correspondence address: statements and tax letters from a US bank or broker, post for a US company you run from Britain, or US-only deliveries you then forward. Anytime itself doesn't recommend using the address as the official address for an LLC, with the IRS or with a bank before checking that they accept it, and advises against using it for a Google Business Profile; its terms add a $50 charge, then $100 for repeats, if a business address mailbox is listed on Google against Google's rules.

A UK address has its own rule for companies. Since 4 March 2024 a company's registered office must be an appropriate address where post reaches someone acting for the company and deliveries can be acknowledged, so PO boxes are out; a third-party agent's address is allowed if it meets that test. The London operator sells separate company and sole-trader plans from £9.99 a month, and the Lite plan excludes businesses entirely. None of these addresses is a home address, so don't give one where a lender or bank asks where you live.

Fees and catches

The plan price is the floor. At Wilmington each item over the allowance costs $1, recycling 10 cents, shredding 30 cents and an in-person collection $2.50; envelopes are stored free for 20 days and then cost 60 cents an item per day, while small boxes get 7 free days and then $3 a day. Leave a few parcels sitting and the storage bill can outrun the plan.

Anytime takes Visa, Mastercard and American Express only, with no PayPal, and US addresses bill in dollars, so a UK card's foreign transaction fee applies unless yours waives it. Fees can change at any time with notice where practical, and after you cancel you must stop using the address and remove it from your records, or Anytime can bill the plan rate plus 50% for each month you keep using it.

What users complain about

On 24 October 2026 the Anytime Mailbox app was rated 2.4 from 110 ratings on the US App Store and 2.9 from 261 reviews on the US Google Play store; the UK stores show too few ratings to score. Anytime's own site quotes a 4.8 rating from a review platform, so the app and the service draw different crowds.

The recurring complaints are paying for the mailbox and notary and then waiting days for the mailbox to be assigned, forwarding charges that came out higher than the per-bundle price suggested, and an app that refuses to log in while the website works. Phone support runs Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm Pacific time, which is mid-afternoon to midnight in the UK.

Cancelling and refunds

The minimum term is one month, and you close the account from Settings. You get a full refund within 30 days of signing up only if the account was never used; after 30 days, or once any post has arrived, nothing is refunded. A refund also cancels the gift card, because refunded sign-ups don't qualify.

After closing, the operator holds post for up to six months, with storage fees possible and forwarding charged extra. Download your scans first: a closed account goes inactive and its data is deleted after 30 days. You can't file a USPS change of address for a digital mailbox, so update each sender yourself.

Who should sign up, and who should skip it

Sign up if you have a concrete use for a US address (an existing US account, a US company, US tax post) or need a cheap London address while you are abroad, and you'll keep it for at least three months anyway. Pick the address on price and allowances, not on the gift card, and go annual if you know you'll keep it a year.

Skip it if you only want somewhere to send US online shopping, since a parcel forwarder built for that is usually simpler; if you'd cancel within three months; if you want the $10 for Amazon.co.uk; or if you need an address a bank will treat as your home.
