Best for
Adults in CatchBack's supported countries who want one free graded-card pull and are happy to keep it or ship it.
Take the free Starter Pack. Redeem code MLVHVP and CatchBack puts its US$8 Starter Pack in your vault straight away, with no deposit and no purchase. CatchBack says its packs are priced so the average pull is worth about the pack price, so think of a card around US$8, though any one pull can land well above or below it. The catch is cash: CatchBack's referral rules say pulls from free referral packs can't be sold back, and only sell-back and marketplace proceeds can be withdrawn. In the US, shipping a card worth under US$50 costs a flat US$8, about what an average Starter Pack pull is worth. Paid packs run from US$1 to US$10,000 and are a game of chance: don't deposit to chase.

What the invite gets you
Redeem code MLVHVP and a free Starter Pack lands in your vault straight away, unopened. It's the same US$8 Starter Pack CatchBack sells, and you don't have to spend anything to get it. MLVHVP is our code, so we get a Starter Pack too when you redeem it. In the app, open the Community tab and tap REFERRALS at the top left; on the website it's under Portfolio, then Referrals.
Each account can redeem one referral code, once, and you can't use your own. It isn't a discount code, so it won't work at checkout. You must be 18 or over, and self-referrals or second accounts get the reward reversed.
What a Starter Pack can land
Pulls are real, authenticated graded cards held in CatchBack's vault, from Pokémon, One Piece, sports or Riftbound. The Starter Pack is the US$8 rung of eleven standard tiers that run from the US$1 Base Pack to the US$10,000 Black Obsidian Pack, and each tier publishes its full table of value ranges and odds before you open. A pull can also be a factory-sealed pack, which CatchBack never opens in the app; a sealed pack from a referral can only be shipped.
CatchBack says its packs are priced so the average pull is worth about the pack price, and values come from CardLadder's market estimate checked against each card's two-week average sale price. Those values are estimates, the odds shift as cards enter and leave the pool, and your one pull can be worth far more or far less than US$8.
Selling a pull back: 90%, then 80%
Cards from paid packs sell back to CatchBack at 90% of market value within 5 minutes of the pull and 80% at any time after, with no expiry and no fee. For the first 7 days the offer is based on the card's value when you got it, up or down; after that it follows the market. The money lands in your balance at once.
Pulls from the free referral pack are the exception: CatchBack's referral rules say they can't be sold back for cash. Its FAQ is looser and says cards from free tier packs sell back like any other pull, so check your vault: if the card shows a CatchBack offer, you can take it. If it doesn't, keep the card or ship it.
Shipping a card home
In the US, shipping is free when the cards in a request total US$50 or more in market value, and a flat US$8 below that. So shipping one average Starter Pack pull costs about what the card is worth, and it pays to let cards build up past US$50 first. Requests are packed Monday to Friday, 10 am to 2 pm Pacific time, and go by UPS or USPS, usually arriving in 1 to 5 business days. Insurance for full market value costs 2% of the cards' value (minimum US$1), and signature confirmation is extra.
Outside the US you pay the carrier's live rate at checkout, the free tier never applies, and CatchBack prepares the customs declaration. CatchBack doesn't say who pays import charges abroad, so budget for your country's duty and tax. The App Store listing describes free, insured shipping, but the shipping page limits free shipping to US orders of US$50 or more and makes insurance an add-on: go by the shipping page.
Getting money out
Only money from selling cards back to CatchBack or from marketplace sales can be withdrawn; deposits can't, and Bonus Balance credits from promotions only spend on packs and the marketplace. The minimum withdrawal is US$10. In the US you can withdraw to a bank account or Venmo, and since October 2026 the app also offers crypto withdrawals.
Withdrawals are usually instant once your account is verified; larger amounts take 1 to 3 business days, and anything in review is checked before it's sent. The marketplace charges US$1 to the buyer and US$1 to the seller per completed sale, and CatchBack doesn't refund a pack once you've bought it.
Where CatchBack works
CatchBack runs in the US and 45 other countries and territories, including the UK, Ireland, most of the EU, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and Japan, and you can deposit in all of them. The app is for iPhone and iPad (iOS 16 or later), and the same account works on CatchBack's website.
The overseas shipping and withdrawal lists match the country list with one notable gap: Japan is on neither, so an account in Japan can deposit but not ship cards or withdraw. If your country isn't listed, CatchBack's support team answers by text at +1 (645) 232-0590.
Who runs CatchBack, and the fine print
The app's developer is CatchBack Cards LLC and its App Store seller is CatchBack Collections LLC. CatchBack's terms, updated in October 2026, are governed by Delaware law and send disputes to individual arbitration rather than class actions; completed transactions are final, and CatchBack can freeze payouts it suspects of fraud.
CatchBack says its vault is climate-controlled and covered by a collectibles insurance policy, with no holding fee and no time limit, although its terms still list monthly storage fees "as disclosed". In pack battles, any seat can be filled by the house at the same odds. Each pull is seeded by your transaction ID through a published algorithm, so it can be checked afterwards.
Our verdict: take the free pack, think before you ship
CatchBack is worth one sign-up if you're 18 or over in a supported country: the Starter Pack is free, the odds are published, and paid pulls carry a sell-back floor. Open the free pack, then decide: keep the card in the vault, or ship it once it's worth the fee, ideally with US$50 or more of cards in one US request.
Skip it if you want a cash bonus: the free pack's pull can't be withdrawn as money. Paid packs are a game of chance and any pack can return less than it cost, even at 90%, so don't deposit to chase a better card.
