GachaJP Review: Code AW468C, 1,100 Free Points and What a 1,000pt Pull Really Lands
GachaJP gives 500pt for phone verification, and code AW468C adds 100pt at sign-up plus 500pt after a first purchase of ¥1,000 or more. Who can use it, what the sealed counts say about a pull, the 14-day ship-or-convert rule, shipping costs and why the UK and Japan are out.

Best for
Adults in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau or an eligible US state who want Japanese cards shipped and were going to buy points anyway.
A good fit only if you live where GachaJP ships and were going to buy points anyway. Verify your phone for 500pt, enter code AW468C for 100pt, then pay at least ¥1,000 on your first purchase for another 500pt: 2,100pt to start, of which 1,100pt is free and expires after 6 months. GachaJP publishes how many cards of each tier are sealed in every pack, and those counts show that most pulls are low tier: on the 1,000pt Balance Pack, about 85 in 100 pulls at the start of sale land a card that converts to 10pt. Shipping 1–10 cards to Hong Kong, Taiwan or Macau costs 2,500pt, and points can't be cashed out. GachaJP isn't available in the UK or to residents of Japan. Pulls are random, so never buy points to chase a card.

GachaJP
GachaJP is a Japanese online gacha (oripa) shop for Pokémon, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh! and other trading cards. Sign up with referral code AW468C and, once your first purchase is 1,000pt (¥1,000) or more, you get 500pt, on top of the standard 500pt phone-verification bonus. Cards you pull ship from Japan or convert to points. It only serves adults in Taiwan, Hong Kong and other approved regions (currently Macau and eligible US states), not the UK. Pack outcomes are random and points can't be cashed out.
Heads up: GachaJP is only open to residents of Taiwan, Hong Kong and other approved regions, and currently ships only to Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and eligible US states (21+ in the US). Residents of Japan can't use it.

What code AW468C adds up to
GachaJP gives every new account 500pt once you verify your phone. Enter code AW468C when you sign up and you get 100pt straight away, then another 500pt when your first purchase is 1,000pt or more. With a ¥1,000 first purchase you start on 2,100pt: 1,000pt bought and 1,100pt free.
AW468C is our code, so when your first purchase qualifies, GachaJP gives us 500pt too. Free points from phone verification, codes, referrals and coupons expire 6 months after they're added and are always spent before the points you buy, which never expire.
Who can use GachaJP
GachaJP serves adults living in Taiwan, Hong Kong and other regions it approves, and it ships to Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and eligible US states. You must be 18 or over, or 21 in the US. Residents of Japan can't use it at all and the UK isn't covered, so British readers should skip it.
You may hold one account, and a phone number can only be registered once: delete your account and you can't sign up again with the same number.
Make the first purchase count
The 500pt referral reward counts the amount you actually pay, not the points you receive. GachaJP's first purchase offers up to 80% off, and its monthly plans open with a cheap first month (¥550 for the 1,000pt plan, ¥100 for the 500pt plan). Either one uses up your single first-purchase discount, and a first payment under ¥1,000 won't unlock the 500pt.
So pay ¥1,000 or more on your first purchase, in one go. Prices are in yen and your card issuer does the conversion; GachaJP takes Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express and WeChat Pay, and the NT$ or HK$ figures on the site are only a guide.
What a pull lands: read the sealed counts
Every GachaJP pack lists its total openings and how many cards of each tier are sealed in it, and a bar beside the price shows how much is left. The counts describe the pack at the start of sale and shift as it sells. Cards that aren't pictured can turn up in tiers 3 and 4, and the reveal animation tells you nothing about the result.
Take the Pokémon Balance Pack at 1,000pt a pull. At the start of sale it held 2,400,000 openings: one copy each of 15 tier 1 cards, 120,000 tier 2 cards and 240,000 tier 3 AR cards. Everything else, about 85 in 100 pulls, is tier 4: a random Pokémon card with a conversion value of 10pt. That is 10pt back from a 1,000pt pull, and it is the most likely result.
Ship or convert within 14 days
Cards wait in My Cards for 14 days from the pull. Request shipping, or convert them to points at the rate GachaJP set for that card when the pack was made; the rate doesn't move with the market. After 14 days GachaJP converts them automatically, and a conversion can't be undone.
The Newcomer Bonus card, a special pull on your phone-verification points before your first purchase, has its own rules: it has no 14-day limit and can be shipped, but converting it (to 5,000pt) unlocks only once your purchases total 15,000pt.
Shipping to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau or the US
Shipping is paid in points: 2,500pt for 1–10 cards to Hong Kong, Taiwan or Macau, then 1,000pt for each further 15 cards; the US costs 3,600pt, then 1,500pt per further 15. Requests to the same address made around the same time are combined, so batch your cards. One shipment costs more than the whole 2,100pt starting balance.
GachaJP ships within 21 days of a request, usually after about a week. Delivery then takes 2–14 days to Taiwan, 3–14 days to Hong Kong or Macau and 5–25 days to the US. Duties and import taxes are yours, except in the US, where GachaJP prepays them. Taiwan deliveries clear more smoothly if you register on EZ WAY for real-name customs first. Report a damaged or wrong card within 7 days of delivery, and film the unboxing.
Points, refunds and who runs GachaJP
1pt is ¥1. Points can only be spent on packs and shipping, can't be cashed out and aren't refunded once used. Residents of Taiwan and Macau can cancel within 7 days of a card's delivery and get back the points spent on that pull, and can cancel unused purchased points within 7 days of buying them. Deleting your account forfeits your points and unshipped cards, and GachaJP can close an account left unused for 24 months.
GachaJP is run by VicMe LLC in Roppongi, Tokyo. Its terms are governed by Japanese law, with Tokyo District Court for disputes, and the Japanese text controls if a translation differs.
Our verdict: worth it where it ships, if you'd buy anyway
Use AW468C if you're an adult in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau or an eligible US state and want Japanese cards delivered: pay ¥1,000 or more once, start on 2,100pt, and use the sealed counts to see what a pack really holds before you pull.
Skip it if you live in the UK or Japan, would buy points only for the bonus, or hope to turn pulls into cash. Most pulls are low-tier cards, every result is random and points can't be withdrawn, so never buy points to chase a card.
FAQ
- How do I get the points?
- Verify your phone for 500pt, enter code AW468C at sign-up for 100pt, then pay at least ¥1,000 on your first purchase for another 500pt.
- Does a discounted first purchase count?
- Only if you actually pay ¥1,000 or more. The 500pt counts the amount paid, so the ¥550 first month of the 1,000pt plan won't unlock it.
- Can I use GachaJP from the UK or Japan?
- No. It serves residents of Taiwan, Hong Kong and other approved regions, ships to Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and eligible US states, and excludes residents of Japan.
- Do points expire?
- Purchased points never expire. Free points from phone verification, codes, referrals and coupons expire 6 months after they're added, and they're spent first.
- How much is shipping to Hong Kong?
- 2,500pt for 1–10 cards, plus 1,000pt for every further 15 cards. Any duties are paid by you.
- Can I cash out GachaJP points?
- No. Points are for packs and shipping only, and they can't be refunded or withdrawn.
