Best for

Adults who enjoy a mystery reveal and will take one free open without topping up to chase the rare prizes.

Claim it for the fun of one free open, not for the money. Our link gives a new HapaBox account one open of the Sign Up Free Box, and the box page shows every prize and drop rate first. On 4 November 2026, 91% of opens gave a ring, pendant or chain worth US$25–US$42 on HapaBox's price list but returning only US$3–US$25 in Credits, which can't be withdrawn. HapaBox is open about odds and uses verifiable draws; what costs money is everything after the free open: paid boxes, shipping and the Upgrade gamble.

Pros

  • Credits can't be withdrawn as cash or sent to another user
  • Shipping, processing and import tax are extra, and there is no published country list
  • "Never lose" is measured by HapaBox's own Value figures, not by resale prices
  • Top-ups are final, and paid boxes, Upgrade and battles are games of chance
  • ID checks can take 3–5 business days and hold up shipping and returns

What our link gives you

Join HapaBox through our link or with code hapauser6d8ab and your new account gets one free open of the Sign Up Free Box. HapaBox's referral programme says users who sign up through a referral link get a Free Box, and the sign-up greeting names this box. No top-up is needed, and the box page lists every prize before you open it.

hapauser6d8ab is our referral code. The link only works for a brand-new HapaBox account: if you have registered before, it does nothing. An account that hasn't claimed any code yet can still enter hapauser6d8ab on the FREE page, and each account can be linked to one code.

Who runs HapaBox and how it works

HapaBox is a trading name of XQUANT CO., LTD, a private UK company incorporated in November 2021 (Companies House number 13721843) with its registered office in Beckenham. It runs hapabox.com, an iPhone app and an Android app called HapaBox Lite, all priced in US dollars.

You top up Credits by card, crypto or other methods that vary by country, then spend them on themed boxes of sneakers, electronics, luxury goods, Pokémon cards, gold bars and more, from about US$2 an open. Each open picks one prize at random, which you keep for delivery or return for Credits. Battles, Upgrade and daily VIP boxes run on the same Credits.

The free box in numbers

On 4 November 2026 the Sign Up Free Box held 20 prizes. Three pieces of hip-hop jewellery make up 91.2% of opens: a ring (40.3%, Value US$25), a pendant (30.7%, US$30) and a Cuban chain (20.2%, US$42). The other 8.8% runs from a US$100 Binance gift card (3.9%) and a Pokémon Celebrations tin (2.2%) up to AirPods Pro 3 (0.3%), an iPhone 17 Pro (0.02%) and a 5 g gold bar (0.01%).

Multiply each drop rate by the prize's Value and the average open comes to US$41.10 on HapaBox's own price list. Do the same with the Return for amounts and the average is US$19.02 in Credits. The usual result sits below both averages: seven opens in ten give the ring or the pendant, which return US$3 and US$4.

Chart of the Sign Up Free Box: ring 40.3% (Value US$25, returns US$3), pendant 30.7% (US$30, returns US$4), chain 20.2% (US$42, returns US$25), 17 other prizes 8.8% (returning US$92–US$1,239); average Value US$41.10, average return US$19.02
Most free opens end with a small amount of site Credits or a piece of jewellery to ship.

Value versus Return for: what "never lose" means

HapaBox advertises that you never lose, and its terms back that with a promise: the prizes in a box are worth at least the box price. The yardstick is the Value HapaBox lists for each item, a reference price it updates from supplier prices and which its FAQ says may not match the lowest retail price or what the item would resell for.

The figure you can spend is Return for: the Credits you get for handing a prize back. In the free box it ranges from 12% of Value for the ring to 100% for the gift cards, and Credits stay on HapaBox. On a paid box this is the gap to watch, because the prizes can meet the Value promise while the Credits they return add up to far less than the box price.

Keep, return, ship or upgrade

After an open you choose. Keep puts the prize in your Cart, from where you can ship it. Return swaps it for the Credits shown, only while it hasn't entered shipping, and a processing fee can apply. Upgrade stakes the prize on a shown success rate for a dearer one; a failed attempt loses the prize.

Third-party suppliers buy and ship prizes. Checkout shows a shipping fee, a processing fee and, for cross-border parcels, import tax collected in advance, and customs can still ask for more on arrival. HapaBox publishes no list of shipping countries, and precious-metal or luxury prizes may be collection only.

Flow: open our link with code hapauser6d8ab, create a new 18+ account, open the Sign Up Free Box once, then keep and ship the prize (shipping, processing and tax extra), return it for Credits that can't be withdrawn, or Upgrade it at the risk of losing it
Return gives Credits for more boxes; only shipping turns a prize into something you own.

Paid boxes, top-ups and Credits

Once the free open is used, everything costs Credits. Top-ups are final: the terms treat box purchases as non-refundable, with refunds only for duplicate charges, a service outage or where the law requires, assessed within 30 days and paid to your original payment method.

Credits don't expire, but they can't be withdrawn or sent to another user. Top-ups also earn EXP towards VIP levels with daily VIP boxes, and HapaBox runs top-up bonuses and events. Those are reasons to deposit, not extra value in the free box. Crypto top-ups are offered in some regions but not in the iPhone app.

Odds disclosure and provably fair draws

Every box page lists its prizes with their drop rates, Value and Return for amount, so you can work out a box's average before paying, as we did for the free box. The spinning animation is decoration; HapaBox's terms say the algorithm's result is what counts.

The algorithm combines a client seed from your browser, a server seed that HapaBox shows hashed before the open and reveals afterwards, and a round number. Together they produce an outcome between 0 and 100,000,000 that falls in one prize's range. You can check any open on an outside verifier: that shows the draw wasn't altered afterwards, not that the odds favour you.

ID checks, delivery and account rules

HapaBox can ask for photo ID or a tax number at any time. Checks take 3–5 business days, and until they're done it can refuse to ship or return items. Have your ID ready before you ask for a valuable prize to be shipped.

Accounts are personal and can't be shared, sold or transferred, and a chargeback can lead to an account review or closure. Delivery times are not guaranteed, and if a parcel is held at customs over duties you were told about, storage and return costs are yours.

What users say

Ratings split sharply. On 4 November 2026 the iPhone app scored 3.5 from 257 US ratings and 3.5 from 58 UK ratings, while the Android app, HapaBox Lite, scored 4.4 from 479 ratings with more than 10,000 downloads. Trustpilot showed 3.8 from 241 reviews, 72% of them five-star and 21% one-star.

Praise centres on the range of boxes, prizes arriving genuine and support finding a substitute when a prize is out of stock. Complaints cover shipping and processing fees, orders that can't be combined, low return values, no way to cash out, slow email replies and out-of-stock prizes.

Who should claim it, and who should skip it

Claim the free open if you're 18 or over, enjoy the reveal and are happy for the likely result to be a few dollars of Credits or a piece of costume jewellery. Keeping the jewellery means paying for delivery; returning it means US$3–US$25 in Credits.

Skip it if you'd be tempted to top up to chase the gold bar or the iPhone, if mystery boxes are restricted where you live, or if you want something you can cash out. Apple lists the app with loot-box and simulated-gambling advisories, and HapaBox calls unboxing a game of luck.
