Infini reviewed: who runs it, the Lite, Pro, Max and Lite Plus cards and their fees, what the 1.5% and 30% AI cashback are worth, the $10 invite perk, deposits and withdrawals, Infini Earn, the 2025 exploit, who can sign up and who should skip it.

Best for

People who already hold USDT or USDC and want a prepaid Visa card for US-dollar spending and AI subscriptions such as ChatGPT and Claude, without keeping large balances on the platform.

Infini is a useful spending card with one standout feature and real caveats. The 30% back on subscriptions paid directly to AI services is worth $10 a month to anyone paying for two $20 plans, on top of 1.5% on other purchases and a free first card. Our invite adds $10 after your first $100 of spending. The catches are the fees on the wrong card (Lite charges 3% on foreign currencies, Max adds 1% outside Hong Kong and $0.30 under $50), money that sits with a young Hong Kong company rather than a bank, and an insider exploit that drained $49.5 million from its yield vault in February 2025. Top up what you plan to spend, pick the card that matches the currency, and treat Infini Earn's advertised 7%–8% as a variable investment, not a savings rate.

Pros

  • First virtual Visa card free, with no monthly, annual or transaction fee
  • 30% back on subscriptions and API top-ups paid directly to ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and about 60 other AI services, up to $10 a month
  • 1.5% cashback on other eligible purchases, 3% on the first $1,000 a month with a $2,000 average balance
  • No fee on US-dollar purchases on any card, and 0%–1% on foreign currencies with Pro or Max
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay on Lite, Lite Plus and Max
  • Optional US and EU account details that turn salary or client payments into stablecoins

Watch-outs

  • Not a bank: stablecoin balances have no deposit protection
  • A former developer drained $49.5 million from Infini's yield vault in February 2025
  • Lite, the card for Apple Pay and AI subscriptions, charges 3% on non-USD purchases
  • Max charges 1% outside Hong Kong and $0.30 on purchases under $50; Pro has no mobile wallets
  • The $10 invite perk has no published terms beyond the invite page
  • Infini Earn's 7%–8% headline is a variable return; Infini's own FAQ puts its track record a little above 3%

What Infini is

Infini is a stablecoin account with prepaid Visa cards, built by a Hong Kong team for people and businesses who are paid or hold money in USDT and USDC. You deposit stablecoins, move them onto a card and spend anywhere Visa works; the same app can receive US-dollar and euro bank transfers, hold BTC, and invest idle balances in Infini Earn. Infini says it serves more than 100,000 users, and it raised a $6 million seed round in September 2026.

The app and cards are run by Cynosure Technology LLC from Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. Infini's compliance statement names BP SG Investment Holding Limited, which holds a Hong Kong trust or company service provider licence (TC010232), Cynosure Technology LLC, registered with FinCEN as a US money services business, and Infinigrowth Digital Inc., registered with FINTRAC in Canada. None of these is a bank or deposit licence: Infini says it does not take deposits, its partners provide the regulated services, and nothing you hold is covered by Hong Kong's Deposit Protection Scheme, the FDIC or the CDIC.

Four cards, four sets of fees

Every card is a virtual prepaid Visa with no monthly, annual or transaction fee, and none charges for spending in US dollars. The differences are what happens in other currencies and which wallets work. Lite works with Apple Pay and Google Pay and is the card Infini lists for ChatGPT and Claude subscriptions, but adds 3% on non-USD purchases. Pro, issued on a Hong Kong card range, charges 1% on other currencies and a 1% refund fee, and doesn't work with mobile wallets. Max, also Hong Kong-issued, has no FX fee, but adds 1% on transactions outside Hong Kong and $0.30 on each purchase under $50, and needs the higher Level 2 identity check. Lite Plus, a US-issued card for AI subscriptions and PayPal with no FX fee, opens only once you reach the Professional tier.

Your first card of any type has no issuance fee; each extra card costs $10, up to ten. Every new card needs a first top-up of at least US$10, which becomes its balance. You fund cards in USDT or USDC, but not both in one top-up. Infini also lists a physical metal card for purchase without publishing its price.

The four Infini cards compared. All charge 0% on US-dollar purchases and have no monthly fee. Non-USD purchases: Lite 3%, Pro 1%, Max 0% plus 1% outside Hong Kong, Lite Plus 0%. Other fees: Lite none listed, Pro a 1% refund fee, Max a 1% refund fee and $0.30 on purchases under $50, Lite Plus none listed. Apple Pay and Google Pay: Lite yes, Pro no, Max yes, Lite Plus yes. Who can open it: Lite and Pro with Level 1 verification, Max with Level 2, Lite Plus at the Professional or Elite tier. First card free, extra cards $10, first top-up at least US$10.

Cashback: what you'll actually earn

Since 1 November 2026 every card earns 1.5% on eligible purchases, calculated on the settled amount. Two tiers raise that without any fee: Professional, for an average balance of at least $2,000 over the past 30 days, pays 3% on the first $1,000 of purchases each month, and Elite, from $100,000, pays 5% on the first $10,000. Spending above the allowance earns 1.5%. Infini averages your account, card and Earn balances from daily snapshots taken at random times, so a deposit made for one day barely moves it.

The larger number is for AI services. Subscriptions and API top-ups charged directly by about 60 listed merchants, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Midjourney, Perplexity, Gemini, Notion and Figma, earn 30% on the Standard tier and 50% on Professional and Elite, capped at $10 a month ($100 on Elite). Payments through the App Store, Google Play, gift cards or resellers don't count. On the Standard tier, two $20 subscriptions earn the full $10 plus $0.10, and Infini pays AI cashback around the 2nd of the following month. Infini's pricing page and invite page still say "up to 2.5%"; the tier rules updated on 6 November 2026 are the current ones.

One month on an Infini Lite card at the Standard tier: two $20 AI subscriptions earn $10.10 (30% to the $10 monthly cap, then 1.5%); $400 of other US-dollar purchases earn $6.00 at 1.5%; $100 of purchases in euros net minus $1.50 (1.5% back minus the 3% Lite FX fee); the invite perk adds $10 once after the first $100 of spending. First month $24.60, later months $14.60. At the Professional tier, with an average balance of at least $2,000, the same month earns $22.60 before the invite perk.

The invite: code AoGxeGc and $10 after $100

Our link opens Infini's invite page for code AoGxeGc. Enter your email there, or continue with Google, and confirm the code Infini sends; that binds the invite to your new account. Then install the app, log in with the same email and complete identity verification. The page lists two welcome perks worth up to $20: a first card with no issuance fee, which every Infini account gets, and $10 back once you have spent $100 on the card, which is the part the invite adds. The page marks the offer as limited-time without an end date, and Infini publishes no separate terms for it, so check the reward in the app before you count on it.

Disclosure: AoGxeGc is our invite code, and Infini's referral programme may credit us when you open a card and spend with it. It doesn't change your fees, cashback or perks.

Fees and catches

The card you pick decides most of your costs. A $100 purchase in euros costs $3 extra on Lite, $1 on Pro and nothing on Max, while a $20 purchase outside Hong Kong on Max costs $0.20 plus $0.30. Refunds on Pro and Max lose 1%, and the cashback on the original purchase is taken back. Always pay in the local currency when a terminal offers to convert to dollars for you.

Locking a card stops new authorisations but not everything: purchases authorised earlier, some offline airline and transit charges and refunds can still post. If you are done with a card, redeem its balance and close it; closing is permanent. Declines usually come from a low balance, a billing address that doesn't match the one in the app, or merchant risk rules, and Infini notes that no card is accepted by every merchant.

Getting money in and out

Infini shows balances in dollars but holds stablecoins. You can deposit USDT on BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Ethereum, Solana, Tron or Base, plus USDC, USDT0 and BTC on their supported networks; sending on the wrong network can lose the funds. Transfers between Infini users are free, and withdrawals to an outside wallet cost the network fee shown before you confirm. Level 1 verification, an ID and a face scan, allows $3,000 a day in transfers and withdrawals; Level 2 adds a proof of address and raises that to $500,000.

With Level 2 you can also open US-dollar account details through Lead Bank and euro details through Banking Circle. Infini's pricing page charges $10 to open each and its help centre $25, refunded if you are rejected. Incoming bank payments convert to stablecoins. Each deposit or withdrawal costs a 0.20% platform fee plus a bank fee, which the pricing page lists as $1 by ACH, $20 by wire and €1 by SEPA and the help centre as $3, $25 and $3; the withdrawal screen shows the one that applies. Japan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Macao and mainland China are among the countries that can't get these accounts.

Infini Earn: read past the 8%

The invite page advertises "8% APY, withdraw anytime" and the tier table shows 7%. Infini's own Earn FAQ is more careful: Earn USD and Earn BTC are variable-return notes issued by Iron Maple Limited, a British Virgin Islands company, paid from the results of trading strategies run with a partner quant team, and the live track record shows a reference APY a little above 3%. Returns are neither fixed nor guaranteed, and venue failures, custody theft or hacks can hit your principal.

There are no subscription, redemption or management fees, the minimum is 1 USDT and redemptions are normally same-day, though a single redemption above 10% of the product's assets can take one to three days. A separate Infini Alpha fund needs 100,000 USDT and keeps 40% of profits. If you want a card, you don't need Earn at all.

Where your money sits, and the 2025 exploit

Deposits land at addresses Infini assigns to your account and may then be pooled into its own wallets, secured with MPC signing from Safeheron; hot wallets that handle daily payments use the same technology. Infini says the legal question of whose assets these are depends on the contracts, not the wallet setup, and that a proof-of-reserves report is planned for the fourth quarter of 2026. The terms say Infini doesn't lend or stake wallet balances, but Earn products are separate.

On 24 February 2025 a former developer who had kept admin rights over Infini's vault contract drained $49.5 million in USDC, as reported by The Block. Founder Christian Li said the cause was negligence in handing over control, promised to cover all losses personally, and kept withdrawals open. We found no independent account of how much was recovered. The lesson is simple: keep spending money on Infini, not savings.

Who can sign up, and what users say

Identity verification is closed to residents of Russia, Belarus, India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Albania, Bosnia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Zimbabwe and sanctioned countries. Mainland China and the US aren't on that list, but Infini's notices say its service isn't offered there, and mainland Chinese addresses can't be used for Level 2. Infini may also ask for more documents or restrict features after review. Most accounts are approved within 24 to 48 hours.

The current app is new. The iOS app "Infini: Crypto Card & Pay" went live in August 2026 and on 7 November had 4.75 stars from just four US ratings; the Android app had passed 10,000 downloads with no public rating yet. Both were updated in the first week of November.

The terms

Infini's Terms of Service, last updated on 7 July 2026, are governed by Singapore law unless a product says otherwise, and disputes go to confidential arbitration at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre. Infini's total liability is capped at the greater of the fees you paid for that service in the previous three months or USD 100. It can restrict or close accounts for compliance, risk or partner reasons, and closure doesn't reverse completed transactions.

Fees, cashback rates and card rules can change on notice, and the cashback rules changed in early November 2026. Check the card creation screen before choosing a card, and the pricing page before a large foreign purchase.

Who should use Infini, and who should skip it

Use it if you already hold USDT or USDC, live in a supported country, and pay for AI tools: two $20 subscriptions on the Lite card earn back $10 a month, and the invite adds $10 more once. Spend mainly in US dollars, or choose Pro or Max for other currencies, and top up only what you'll spend in the next few weeks.

Skip it if you want deposit protection, a long track record or a savings rate you can rely on, or if most of your spending is in another currency and you need Apple Pay, where Lite's 3% FX fee cancels the cashback.

FAQ

What is the Infini invite code?
AoGxeGc. Our link opens Infini's invite page with it; enter your email there before installing the app so the invite binds to your account.
How do I get the $10 invite perk?
Verify your identity, create your first card and spend $100 on it. The invite page lists it as a limited-time perk claimed in the app; Infini publishes no separate terms.
Which Infini card is cheapest abroad?
Max has no FX fee but charges 1% outside Hong Kong and $0.30 under $50, so Pro (1% FX) is usually cheaper for small purchases. Lite costs 3% on any non-USD purchase.
Does Infini work for ChatGPT and Claude?
Yes. Infini recommends Lite (or Lite Plus at the Professional tier) for them, and paying OpenAI or Anthropic directly earns 30% back on the Standard tier, up to $10 a month. App Store and Google Play billing doesn't count.
Is Infini a bank?
No. It holds stablecoins for you through partners and licences in Hong Kong, the US and Canada, and nothing is covered by deposit insurance.
Is Infini Earn safe?
It is an investment, not a deposit. Earn USD is a variable-return note issued by a BVI company; Infini advertises 7%–8%, its track record shows a little over 3%, and principal can be lost.
What happened in Infini's 2025 hack?
In February 2025 a former developer used admin rights that had never been revoked to drain $49.5 million in USDC from Infini's vault. The founder promised to cover users' losses personally.
How long does sign-up take?
About 10 to 15 minutes to register, verify your ID and create a card. Infini says most accounts are approved within 24 to 48 hours; Level 2 needs a proof of address issued in the last six months.
