MEXC Review: What the 10,060 USDT Invite Headline Is Really Worth

MEXC reviewed for readers worldwide: who runs it and where it refuses customers, what regulators say, what the 10,060 USDT invite headline is made of, how futures bonuses and vouchers work, the fees and what task volume costs, proof of reserves, user complaints and who should skip it.

Best for

Experienced futures traders who live somewhere MEXC serves, already trade USDT-M perpetuals as takers, and accept the risk of an offshore exchange with no licence from a major regulator.

MEXC has low standard fees (0% maker and 0.05% taker on spot, 0% and 0.02% on USDT-M futures) and a very long token list, but the 10,060 USDT on its invite page is not money you can withdraw. The welcome gifts are futures bonuses, fee vouchers and copy-trade bonuses that unlock with deposits held for a set number of days and futures volume, expire after 15 days and can only be spent as margin and fees; only profits made with them can be withdrawn. MEXC also contracts through a company in the Comoros, refuses residents of the UK, the US, Canada, Hong Kong, mainland China, Singapore, Malaysia, Russia, Belarus and others, is on the UK FCA and Hong Kong SFC warning lists, and draws heavy complaints about frozen accounts. Our call: use it only if you already trade futures and accept that platform risk; take the small tasks that match trading you'd do anyway, and never deposit more or add leverage to chase the headline.

Pros

  • Low standard fees: 0% maker and 0.05% taker on spot, 0% maker and 0.02% taker on USDT-M futures
  • Holding at least 500 MX halves spot and futures trading fees
  • No MEXC fee on crypto deposits; only the network's gas applies
  • Monthly proof of reserves audited by Hacken: in October 2026, 294% for BTC, 122% USDT, 115% USDC and 111% ETH
  • Profits made with a futures bonus can be withdrawn
  • Rated 4.6 on Google Play from about 319,000 reviews

Watch-outs

  • The headline is futures bonuses and vouchers that expire after 15 days, not withdrawable cash
  • Moving any funds out of the futures account before the bonus is used up forfeits all of it
  • Not available in the UK, the US, Canada, Hong Kong, mainland China, Singapore, Malaysia, Russia, Belarus and other places
  • No licence from a major regulator; on the UK FCA warning list and the Hong Kong SFC's suspicious-platform list
  • Rewards must be claimed by hand and sit in risk review for up to 7 days
  • Trustpilot hides MEXC's score after removing fake reviews; 88% of its 1,347 reviews are one star

Register for MEXC through this invite link; invite code 43upK is attached. The invite page advertises "Referral Exclusive 10,060 USDT" and an exclusive $60 claim, but MEXC's rules show the welcome rewards are mostly futures bonuses and fee vouchers unlocked by deposit and futures-trading tasks. A futures bonus can only be used as margin and to pay fees and losses on USDT-M futures; it cannot be withdrawn, although profits made with it can. MEXC's own User Agreement does not serve residents of the UK, Hong Kong, the US, Canada, mainland China, Singapore, Malaysia, Russia or Belarus, among others, and MEXC is closing all Dutch accounts (last batch 31 October 2026). Crypto and futures trading can lose you everything you put in.

What MEXC is and who runs it

MEXC is a crypto exchange that started in 2018 and says it has more than 40 million users in over 170 countries and regions. It is known for listing new tokens quickly, and one account covers spot trading, USDT-M and coin-margined futures with high leverage, copy trading, Earn products, launchpad-style events and P2P trading.

Its User Agreement, last updated on 13 October 2026, makes your contract with MEXC (Comoros) Ltd, registered in Mutsamudu on Anjouan in the Union of the Comoros, under English law with arbitration in Hong Kong. MEXC's site doesn't name a licence from any major financial regulator, and the agreement states that MEXC is not your broker or adviser.

Where MEXC won't serve you

MEXC doesn't accept users from North Korea, Cuba, Sudan, Iran, mainland China, Singapore, Malaysia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Russia, the Russian-controlled regions of Ukraine, Belarus, Canada, or any place under comprehensive EU or US sanctions or on the FATF call-for-action list. The list can change at any time, and some products are limited by region on top of it.

It is also pulling back from parts of Europe: citing EEA regulation, MEXC is offboarding users in the Netherlands in four batches, the last completing on 31 October 2026, and on 20 October 2026 it said it would stop serving users in Russia and Belarus. MEXC can close the account and liquidate open positions of anyone who misstates where they live, so never sign up from an excluded country through a VPN.

What regulators say

The UK Financial Conduct Authority added MEXC Global Ltd to its warning list in March 2024 as a firm that isn't authorised and may be targeting people in the UK. The same month, Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Commission put MEXC on its alert list of suspicious virtual asset trading platforms, after a campaign offering Hong Kong users 20 USDT for completing KYC, and said MEXC had neither a Hong Kong licence nor an application for one.

In practice this means no deposit protection, no compensation scheme and no ombudsman to take a complaint to, wherever you live. If MEXC freezes an account or fails, your only recourse is MEXC itself.

What the 10,060 USDT headline is made of

Our invite page shows "Referral Exclusive 10,060 USDT" and an exclusive $60 to claim. MEXC's welcome-gift rules, raised from 8,000 to 10,000 USDT in August 2025, explain the rest: the gifts are futures bonuses, fee vouchers and copy-trade bonuses, paid for deposit tasks, futures-trading tasks and limited-time tasks. The exact tasks, thresholds and deadlines appear in your Rewards Hub after you register, and they vary by country.

Deposit tasks count on-chain deposits and P2P purchases, not internal transfers, and you must hold the net deposit (deposits minus withdrawals and transfers out) for a set number of consecutive days; dropping below it voids the task. Trading tasks count only futures trades that pay a fee above zero, including trades made with a bonus, and exclude stablecoin pairs such as USDCUSDT. Some tasks need Primary or Advanced KYC within a deadline, and you can take part in only one new-user event at a time.

Disclosure: 43upK is BonusRoam's own invite code. MEXC pays us a commission on the trading fees your account generates, for up to 1,080 days after you register; it doesn't come out of your balance or your rewards.

What MEXC's welcome rewards are. Futures bonus: margin, fees, funding and losses on USDT-M futures, valid 15 days, not withdrawable, though profits made with it are. Fee voucher: futures trading fees only, valid 15 days, not withdrawable. Copy-trade bonus: copy trading only, not withdrawable. Position airdrop: opens an isolated futures position at the last price; profit is settled on close and the rest revoked. Token voucher: redeem within 14 days; redeemed tokens can be withdrawn. Claim each reward by hand; risk review takes up to 7 days; moving funds out of the futures account early forfeits the bonus.

How bonuses are claimed and used

Visit the Rewards Hub before starting any task, since that registers you. Progress can take 30 minutes to update, every reward has to be claimed by hand, and each one goes through a risk review of up to 7 calendar days before it lands under My Rewards. Unclaimed rewards expire at the claim deadline, rewards are first come, first served, and users in places that restrict derivatives may not get futures rewards at all.

A futures bonus is credited to your futures wallet and works only on USDT-M contracts, not USDC-M or coin-margined ones. Your own USDT is used as margin first, while the bonus pays fees, funding and realised losses first, and fee vouchers are spent before bonuses. Moving any asset out of the futures account before the bonus is used up forfeits the whole bonus, and whatever is left after 15 days is revoked, which can push an open position towards liquidation. Position airdrops open a trade for you at the last price in isolated margin, and can't be claimed if you already hold a position or order in that pair.

Fees

MEXC's standard rates are 0% maker and 0.05% taker on spot, and 0% maker and 0.02% taker on USDT-M futures. Holding at least 500 MX halves them; switching on MX fee deduction instead gives 20% off, and the two don't combine. MEXC says rates vary by region and promotion, and it has raised futures fees to 0.01% maker and 0.04% taker for some countries and contracts, so check the rate in your trade history. API futures trading costs 0.04% maker and 0.06% taker.

MEXC charges nothing for crypto deposits, though the blockchain's network fee still applies, and withdrawals carry a per-coin, per-network fee shown in the withdrawal window. Perpetual positions pay or receive funding every few hours, and P2P trades are priced by the other party.

What the tasks cost: a worked example

Futures volume counts the full size of every position you open and close, not your margin. Opening and closing a 1,000 USDT position is 2,000 USDT of volume and costs 0.40 USDT at the 0.02% taker rate. Since maker orders pay 0% and MEXC counts only trades with a fee above zero, task volume in practice has to come from taker orders: 10,000 USDT costs 2 USDT, 100,000 USDT costs 20 USDT and 1,000,000 USDT costs 200 USDT. The same volume on spot at 0.05% would cost two and a half times as much.

The fee is not the danger; leverage is. 100 USDT of margin at 20x opens a 2,000 USDT position, and a 5% move against it is 100 USDT, the whole margin, with liquidation arriving slightly before that. A bonus used as margin behaves the same way, and if you lose your own USDT chasing a volume target, the bonus never covered it. Do a trading task only when the volume is trading you planned anyway.

What MEXC task volume costs at standard taker rates. Futures at 0.02%: 10,000 USDT costs 2 USDT, 100,000 USDT costs 20 USDT, 1,000,000 USDT costs 200 USDT. Spot at 0.05%: 5, 50 and 500 USDT. Maker trades at 0% don't count towards task volume. Leverage: 100 USDT of margin at 20x is a 2,000 USDT position, and a 5% move against it loses 100 USDT, the whole margin.

Reserves and custody

MEXC is custodial: it holds the keys to everything in your account. Since February 2023 it has published proof of reserves, now audited monthly by Hacken with a Merkle tree that lets you check your own balance was included. The October 2026 report, published on 16 October, put reserves at 294% of user balances for BTC, 122% for USDT, 115% for USDC and 111% for ETH.

MEXC also runs a Guardian Fund it says holds more than 100 million USDT and 2,000 BTC. Proof of reserves shows assets against user balances on the audit date; it isn't a full audit of the company's finances and doesn't stop an account being frozen. Keep only what you are actively trading on MEXC.

What users complain about

On 24 October 2026 MEXC's app was rated 4.6 from about 319,000 reviews on Google Play, with more than 10 million downloads, and 4.7 from 8,514 ratings on the US App Store. Trustpilot shows no score at all: it has removed fake reviews and hidden MEXC's rating for breaching its guidelines, and 88% of the 1,347 reviews left are one star.

The complaints repeat: accounts frozen or closed for anti-money-laundering or risk-control reasons with no explanation, sometimes for months; futures trading switched off or fees raised under the User Agreement; template replies that send users back to live chat; bonuses withheld; and P2P sellers who take payment off the platform and never release the coins.

Signing up and leaving

Open our link: it goes to MEXC's registration page with invite code 43upK already in the referral field, which the form marks as optional, so don't clear it. Register with email, phone, Google or Apple, then complete KYC, since some tasks require Advanced verification. Open the Rewards Hub and read each task's deposit, holding period, volume and deadline before you move any money.

To leave, close your positions, move funds from futures to spot (any unused bonus is forfeited at that point), and withdraw to a wallet you control, checking the network and fee. Small balances below a coin's withdrawal minimum can get stuck, so convert them first.

Who should use it, and who should skip it

Use it if you live somewhere MEXC serves, already trade USDT-M futures as a taker, and want low fees and early access to new tokens, accepting that an offshore exchange can freeze your account with little recourse. Then the trading tasks pay you for volume you'd generate anyway.

Skip it if you live in an excluded country, have never traded futures, want your money with a regulated exchange, or would be depositing and trading only to unlock the bonuses. A bonus that expires in 15 days is not worth a liquidation.

FAQ

Which MEXC invite code should I use?
43upK. Our link opens MEXC's registration page with it already filled in; check it's there before you create the account.
Is the 10,060 USDT cash?
No. It is mostly futures bonuses, fee vouchers and copy-trade bonuses behind deposit and trading tasks. You can withdraw profits made with a bonus, not the bonus itself.
Where does the 10,060 figure come from?
MEXC's new-user welcome gifts go up to 10,000 USDT, and the invite page adds an exclusive $60. Your Rewards Hub shows the actual tasks after you register.
How long do the bonuses last?
Futures bonuses and fee vouchers are valid for 15 days, token vouchers for 14. Unused bonus is revoked when it expires.
Why hasn't my reward arrived?
Each reward has to be claimed by hand and goes through a risk review of up to 7 days. Unclaimed rewards expire, and futures rewards can be withheld where derivatives are restricted.
Where can't I use MEXC?
The UK, the US, Canada, Hong Kong, mainland China, Singapore, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, the Russian-controlled regions of Ukraine, sanctioned countries and a few others. It is also leaving the Netherlands.
Is MEXC regulated?
Not by any major regulator. You contract with MEXC (Comoros) Ltd, and both the UK FCA and the Hong Kong SFC have published warnings about MEXC.
Do I have to deposit to get anything?
Registering is free, but deposit tasks need a net deposit held for a set number of consecutive days and trading tasks need futures volume. The Rewards Hub lists each threshold and deadline.
