Muse from Meta reviewed for UK readers: what the personal AI agent does, why you can't join from the UK yet, the Free, Power and Maximum plans, what the 1 billion token referral grant is worth, the privacy design, user complaints, and how to claim with code I4MGRC once it arrives.

Best for
UK readers who want an AI agent that handles email, bookings and shopping with approval, and are happy to wait for Meta to open Muse here before claiming the code.
Muse is Meta's personal AI agent: it doesn't just answer, it sends emails, books, compares prices and keeps working after you close the app, asking before anything sensitive. As of 24 October 2026 it is open in the US, Canada and Japan only. The app isn't on the UK App Store and Meta has announced no UK date, so you can't claim the referral grant from here yet. When it does arrive, the deal is simple: join through our link, redeem I4MGRC in Settings within 48 hours, and you get 1 billion Muse tokens, two weeks of the $20 Power plan's allowance, worth roughly £6 to £7 at Meta's plan prices. Bookmark it and wait; don't route round the block with a VPN.
Pros
- Does the work itself: drafts and sends email, books, fills forms and tracks prices, with your approval
- Free tier with every feature; paid plans only add weekly volume
- 1 billion referral tokens equal two weeks of the $20 Power plan
- Meta's help centre says promotional tokens don't expire
- Runs in its own cloud VM with a separate Sentinel agent approving anything sent to the internet
- Conversations aren't shared with Meta's ad systems, and you can opt out of model training
Watch-outs
- Not available in the UK as of 24 October 2026; no UK App Store listing and no announced date
- The 48-hour redemption window starts when you join, and each code has only 20 to 30 uses
- Tokens have no cash value and can't be transferred or refunded
- Meta doesn't publish the free tier's weekly allowance
- Users report wrong answers and destructive mistakes in email and documents
- Needs a Meta account and broad access to your email, calendar and apps to be useful

What Muse is
Muse is a personal AI agent from Meta, launched on 8 September 2026. You tell it what needs doing in a chat, and it plans the task and carries it out: it can open a browser, fill in forms, send emails, book travel and negotiate on your behalf, and it keeps working after you close the app, coming back when something changes or when it needs your approval. It runs on Muse Spark, Meta's own model.
You use it through the Muse app on iPhone and Android, on the web at muse.ai, or by messaging it in WhatsApp. You sign in with a Meta account, which you can create from Facebook, Instagram, an email address or a phone number, and you must be 18 or over.
Can you use it in the UK?
Not yet. Meta rolled Muse out in the US on 8 September 2026, the app is also live on the Canadian App Store, and on 23 October 2026 Meta launched it in Japan, which it called its first market outside North America. On 24 October 2026 the Muse app isn't listed on the UK App Store, Meta's help centre says Muse 'is not yet available everywhere', and Meta has announced no UK date.
Don't try to get round it with a VPN or a US app-store account. Meta's subscription page requires you to be in a country where Muse is offered, and the Muse terms let Meta suspend or end access at any time, which can also catch the Meta account you sign in with. The code is worth claiming the day Muse opens here, not before.
What it can do day to day
The everyday jobs are email triage and replies, calendar clashes, reminders, restaurant bookings, price tracking and buying things, subscription audits and budget tracking, and fitness or meal plans built from data you choose to share. It remembers details you mention once, so it can suggest things unprompted, and you can tell it to forget anything specific.
You decide what it connects to (email, calendar, Instagram, Facebook, finance and health apps) and how much access each gets: reading your mail only, or sending too. Payments go through Link by Stripe, which issues a one-time card number so your real card stays hidden and covers eligible purchases with Link's protections. Meta warns that Muse can be inaccurate or take unexpected actions, so check in on anything that matters.
Privacy and safety
Each user's Muse lives on its own virtual machine in Meta's cloud, Muse Secure VM, where the credentials for connected services are stored. A separate Sentinel agent on the same machine must approve anything Muse sends to the internet, Muse can't see your passwords or payment details, and it asks before sensitive actions such as sending an email or making a purchase. A full activity log shows what it has done and plans to do.
Meta says Muse doesn't share your conversations or VM data with its ad systems, and you can opt out of your interactions being used to train Meta's models. A Confidential VM, encrypted with a key only you hold, is due later in 2026. The trade-off is plain: the agent is only useful once it can read your email and act in your accounts, so connect the minimum and widen access as it earns trust.
Plans and token allowances
Muse is free with a usage limit. Meta's help centre lists two subscriptions on top: Power at $20 a month with 500 million Muse tokens a week, and Maximum at $100 a month with 3 billion a week. Every plan has the same features; you pay for volume. Plans renew monthly on your purchase date and you can cancel at any time. Meta doesn't publish the free allowance; when you hit it, you wait for it to refresh, subscribe, or buy extra tokens.
Tokens bought separately and promotional tokens don't expire, according to Meta's help centre, while an unused weekly allowance doesn't roll over. Tokens can't be transferred or refunded except where the law requires, have no cash value and only work for Muse features. The Muse terms let promotional credits carry a stated expiry, so check the date shown next to the balance.
What 1 billion referral tokens are worth
Meta's own @meta.ai account set out the referral on Threads on 22 September 2026: 1 billion tokens for both sides when a new user redeems a code in Settings within 48 hours of joining, with each code limited to 20 to 30 uses depending on the rollout. I4MGRC is BonusRoam's own code, so we receive 1 billion Muse tokens too when you redeem it.
Against Meta's plan prices, 1 billion tokens is two weeks of the Power allowance or about two and a third days of Maximum. Power works out at $20 × 12 ÷ 52 = $4.62 a week for 500 million tokens, so 1 billion is worth about $9.23 (about £6.90); on Maximum it's about $7.69 (about £5.75). That's useful headroom for a heavy fortnight, not money.
How to claim when Muse reaches the UK
Use the Claim button on this page to open Muse's join page, create your Meta login or sign in, and finish onboarding. Then, within 48 hours of joining, open Settings, choose Redeem code and enter I4MGRC; the code isn't carried in the link, so typing it is the step that counts. The grant goes to new Muse users, so an account that has already passed its 48 hours can't add it.
Check the token balance in Settings straight after redeeming. If Muse says the code has no uses left, it has reached its 20 to 30 redemptions; we replace the code on this page when that happens. Use the free allowance first and keep the 1 billion for a week when you hand Muse a big job, such as planning and booking a trip.
What users complain about
Ratings are high: 4.85 out of 5 from 331,897 ratings on the US App Store and 4.7 from about 108,000 reviews on Google Play, with more than 5 million downloads, on 24 October 2026. There are no UK ratings because there's no UK listing.
The low reviews repeat a few themes: quality that seemed to slip after the first weeks, wrong or made-up answers, and destructive mistakes, including mass-deleted emails and a mangled document. Others raise the breadth of permissions, Meta account suspensions and verification loops, separate agents on different devices, and weak screen-reader support. The fix is the one Meta gives: approve actions carefully and keep backups of anything you let it edit.
Who should wait for it, and who should skip it
Wait for it if you run a busy inbox and calendar, buy online a lot, or want an assistant that follows up for you, and you're comfortable giving a Meta service access to those accounts. When Muse opens in the UK, the referral grant is a free fortnight of heavy use.
Skip it if you won't connect your email and accounts to Meta, if you need a tool that never acts on its own, or if you'd only use it as a chatbot; then the free tier covers you and the tokens add little. Business users should check their employer's rules before connecting work accounts.
